The Hundred Beds Hall -Step
Thousand day bed. How to
Step means: we should have 1 more step to get on the bed.
Thousand day means:carpenter spend 1000 days to work on it.
This bed made in Qing Dynasty. The carving is exquisite
There are 106 charaters were carved,tell us different stories.
We could look the bed as 4 parts: shoes section, makeup section, urine
pot section and sleeping section.
You could NOT find any nail, because the bed was made by craft “ Mortice
and tenonjoint ”.

The Traditional
Dress Hall
Here we will see Qing Dynasty style colthes.
Long gown and mandarin jacket was the main style of clothes in Qing
Dynasty for male . The length of clothes is to bellybutton,the length
of sleeve to elbow .
Yellow mandarin jacket was only awarded to outstanding warrior by
emperor after hunting. It’s a kind of exalted sample .
At beginning, only nation "Man" could dress it , later all
people dress it . |

Spirit Workshop
This workshop was setup 120 years before,far away from main street,
Chinese Slang said: the fragrant wine never worry about sale.
We call local wine “ 3 white distilled spirit”: white rice(glutinous
rice) , white flour(distiller's yeast), white water (underground water).
After 2 times fermanted and 2 times distilled, we got Chinese favorate
55 dgree distilled spirit. |

HongYuanTai Dying Workshop
1)Put the Printing Plate on the white cotton fabric;
2) Brush the Lime powder and soybean powder;
3) Dying materail is Blue Grass (Isatis leaves fluid);
4) Expose the dying fabric to sunshine untile it dry;
5) Scratch the Lime powder by knife .
We will got this kind of Pulverized Lime fabric.

The Local Wood
Carving Exhibition Hall
The wood sculpture made of camphor wood. Length is 4.1 meter, weight
is 344 KG.
The host carved General GuoZiyi’s family,hope his own life will be
like general's life .
The sculpture show us what happened in the general 郭子仪’s birth day
in Tang dynasty (618~907) .
There are general GuoZiYi ，wife, 7sons , 8 son in law , 4 maidservant
and 3 officers. |

Currency Exhibition Hall
Mr.Yu LiuLiang was born in 1942, in the year 1958, he went to the
univercity, majoy is mold or casting
After he gratuated, he worked as a teacher of mold and casting , always
tought sudent knowledge by manufacturing process of coin, step by
step he collected more and more currency of different countries and
dynasty.
His collection is from 230 countries in 3000 years ,
totally more than 26,000 kinds of currency,therein 20,000 pieces are
metal currency , 3,000 pieces are paper currency.
Also he wrote 4 books about curency.

Mao Dun's Former
Residence
MaoDun is pen name, his real name is Shen DeHong, he was born on the
4th,July, 1896 in the end of Qing Dynasty.And died on 27th, March,
1981 when he was 85 years old. He was the first culture minister of
new China.
The fater of his grand father was good at business of tobacco , also
buy a government position to be a tax director.
But his grandfather and father only like litterateur. his father past
the impeiral test when his father was 16 years old, but died in 34
years old when MaoDun was 10 years old.
When he was 13 years old he went to HuZhou, HangZhou, JiaXing school
to study , he finished 5 years study in 3 years.
When he was 18 years old, he pass the examination and went to BeiJing
univercity...... |
